Research Interest: He is interested in general oncology, the late effects of cancer therapy, and in the diagnosis of childhood anemia.
Community Involvement: Medical Director of Pediatric Hematology-Oncology and a member of the Cancer Committee at KMCWC. He lectures and precepts first and third-year medical students, acts as a Clinical Skills Preceptor, coordinates the fourth-year student and third-year resident electives, and provides teaching to the first year residents on the Hematology- Oncology rotation. Additionally, he serves as President for the Board of Directors of HPAREF and is a Medical Advisor for HUGS (Help, Understanding, and Group Support).
