Research Interest: His areas of interest include oncology clinical trials, neutrophil/myeloid cell signaling and function, thalassemia major management, iron overload/chelation therapy, as well as general clinical pediatric oncology. Dr. Kyono is the principal investigator.
Community Involvement: He is a member of the Medical Advisory Board for Make-A-Wish Hawai‘i and is a founding Board Member of Let Grace In, a non-profit family bereavement support group.
