Clinical Interest: Community Involvement: Dr. Kyono was the project director and medical liaison for Healthy Child Care Hawai‘i, which was funded from 2000 to 2020, it remains as part of the Department of Health and she is an informal consultant. She represents the Hospitalist Division on the KMCWC Community Pediatric and Peer Review Committee and the Utilization Management Committee. Dr. Kyono has been visiting pediatricians in the community to improve the communication and interaction with the division. She is a member of KMCWC Medical Executive Committee as Assistant Chair of the Department of Pediatrics. She is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and remains on the Board as the Immediate Past President of the Hawai‘i Chapter of the AAP.
