Community Involvement: Dr. Len is an Associate Professor of the Office of Medical Education and Department of Pediatrics. Her leadership roles include current Interim Vice Chair and Director of Medical Student Education for Pediatrics, Learning Community Co-Director, Longitudinal Integrated Clerkship Director. She enjoys teaching across the medical education continuum from tutoring 1st year medical students in their first PBL unit, through clinical teaching of junior and senior residents on the inpatient pediatric wards. She was honored to receive multiple awards from medical students including the University of Hawai`i Board of Regents’ Medal for Excellence in Teaching Award and the JABSOM John H. Hardman Award for Mentoring in Teaching. She also serves on multiple hospital, department and medical school committees. She is also a resident advisor, learning community mentor and an advisor for students interested in a career Pediatrics.
